Anyways I guess the point if all of this is that neither MySQL replication is dead nor can anyone afford to ignore memcache and friends. Most people that can just push everything into memcache really have a very simple query pattern. In a sense they are even more limited than those that can benefit from MySQL Cluster. The same applies to CouchDB from my understanding (though I have not really dived deep into CouchDB and friends to really know).]]></description>
